Content Usage & Copyright Policy

With the exception of guest posts written by others (see below), I own the content on this website, including articles, podcast episodes, video, and other original material, and it is copyrighted in my name. I want to strike the right balance between getting my work widely distributed and protecting my intellectual property. Thanks in advance for respecting these terms.

Without My Permission

You're free to do the following without asking:

  • Link to my site or any specific post, episode, or page.

  • Extract and re-post fewer than 200 words of text from any post, provided you link back to the original.

  • Print my posts and distribute up to 50 copies internally within your own company or organization. Please include “By Rich Gee” and “Read more at www.RichGee.com.”

  • Reprint my posts in a non-commercial publication (company newsletter, church bulletin, class syllabus, etc.), provided you include this notice: “© Rich Gee Group. All rights reserved. Originally published at www.RichGee.com.”

Not Without My Permission

You need my express written consent to do any of the following:

  • Use this content for commercial purposes, including selling or licensing printed or digital versions of it.

  • Alter, transform, remix, or build derivative work from it.

  • Use this content, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, or to build any dataset intended for that purpose.

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download this site's content through automated means for any purpose beyond standard search-engine indexing.

AI and Automated Use

I do not authorize the use of my content, including written articles, podcast transcripts, video, and audio, for training or fine-tuning any AI or machine learning model, or for inclusion in any dataset used for that purpose. This applies regardless of whether the content is accessed directly from this site or through a third party. If you represent a company or tool that ingests web content at scale, this notice serves as an explicit reservation of rights under applicable copyright law.

Re-posting and Translation Rights

I don't permit re-posting my content in its entirety. Search engines penalize duplicate content and often can't identify which site hosts the original, which puts my own site at risk.

I also don't authorize translation of my work into other languages for publication. I don't have the resources to validate the quality or accuracy of translated versions.

Guest Posts

Guest contributors retain copyright to the posts they write for this site. The permissions above don't apply to their work. If you want to re-post or publish a guest contributor's content, contact them directly. I don't act as a broker, agent, or point of contact for guest content.

“Rich Gee,” “Rich Gee Group,” “Performance Ceiling,” and related names, marks, and taglines used on this site are trademarks of Rich Gee Group, whether or not they carry a ™ or ® symbol. Use of these marks without permission is not authorized.

Enforcement

If I find content used outside these terms, I'll typically start with a direct request to correct or remove it. Continued unauthorized use may result in a formal copyright infringement claim, including a DMCA takedown notice to the hosting platform, at my discretion.
