The Pressure of Workshops
Having been in the speaking business for over ten years, I know that a speaker can either make or break your workshop.

Likewise, a consultant can either help with your development efforts or slow them down. I know that a lot of pressure is riding on your decision of who to bring to your group, and I want to eliminate that pressure.

From experience, I know that your three biggest headaches in choosing a speaker or consultant are . . .

Motivation . . .
You need a speaker who delivers and will make your workshop memorable. I have designed topics that are engaging as well as entertaining, and once we have an agreed topic, we will work together to define your challenges and tailor my talk to your team's needs.

Scheduling . . .
Because I have done this many times before, I know that your time is valuable, and I work closely with you to coordinate travel, handouts, conference descriptions, publicity photos, and other details. Requests can normally be handled in 24 hours or less.

Price . . .
Your budget is not unlimited and you need to get the most value for your dollars. I will work with you to provide the best service for the most reasonable fee.

Who is my audience?

My main area is business - but I have a fairly broad cross-section of constituents:
  • Teams - Solid tips to help them work smarter and love what they do.
  • Managers - Communication skills - to peers, subordinates, and their superiors.
  • Sales - Negotiation, Closing The Sale, Sales Cycle; all the areas targeted to driving more sales.
  • Business Owners - There are better ways to grow your business without spending a lot of time and money.
  • Students - College does not teach you the 'real' business environment - I will.
  • Dissatisfied Executives - Learn to love your job or begin goal planning to your next incarnation.
  • Keynotes - Let me start your meeting/conference off with a bang that delivers substance.
  • Strategy Development - Get your people focused on what is important to the company, not their divisions.

Here's a cross-section of my most requested workshops:

Walk The Talk
Model the behavior you want to see from others.

If you work in an organization, you've heard this complaint repeatedly. Leaders and managers say they want change and continuous improvement but their actions do not match their words. Targeting a number of basic strategies, you can enable organization change and impact the values, culture, and environment in a positive manner.

- Model the behavior you want to see from others.
- Hold strategic conversations to communicate clearly.
- Leverage communication tools effectively.

Action Plan Your Career
You plan for everything else - why not?

I can stand up and give you all the best tools, techniques, and secrets to make you more knowledgeable - but that won't ensure success. By the end of this workshop, we will have worked together to compose a personalized action plan with YOUR goals and attainable activities to ensure that IT CAN BE DONE.

- Learn how to attack the low-hanging fruit first.
- Segment your activities into attainable, small steps.
- Track your progress and course-correct frequently.

Closing The Sale
Get sold on a new way of closing.

You're no idiot, of course. You know your product like the back of your hand, and you can prospect with the best of them. But when it comes to closing, you're seeing more doors than deals.

Don't give up! Chances are it's not you that's responsible for your closing issues, but myths you've been taught about the closing process.

Walk away from this workshop with actionable tools that will allow you to close more quickly, effectively, and deliver a win-win for all parties!

Market Yourself To Success
Toot your own horn without blowing it.

With friends, colleagues - everyone you meet. Understand how to leverage basic interpersonal behaviors and tricks to get you noticed and appreciated.

Learn how to network effectively and connect to meet new, exciting, and influential people. Master assertive communication styles that allow you to go from being invisible to making key contacts that will deliver success.

Management Skills for New Managers
Learn and execute turnkey management behaviors.

As a manager, your success is measured not simply by your individual contribution, but how well you get the work done with and through others.

- Improve communication to effectively set expectations for your direct reports.
- Apply delegation strategies to increase motivation and productivity.
- Use effective coaching techniques to maximize your teams performance.

Work Smarter, Not Harder
The REAL 40-hour workweek.

You probably see many of your coworkers constantly complain that they are overworked - working late hours, through lunch, etc. I will show you ways to first understand why people do that and why it gets them NOWHERE.

- The Big Three - Streamline/Delegate/Retire.
- Reconfigure Your Workday to deliver hours to your day.
- Under-promise, Over-deliver and be honest about time.

Create Opportunities To Change Your Life
Right place . . . right time.

Standing next to the CEO at the lunch line, having a haircut or styling with the head of operations, bumping into the perfect business partner you have been trying to meet for years. And then taking advantage of the situation by closing that deal.

- Impact/Effort analysis - pick high quality situations to maximize your impact.
- Situational connecting - when to do it and what to do.
- Step out from your desk and embrace those career-changing opportunities.

Drive Your Business In The Fast Lane
You can never have TOO many clients.

You're all alone. Your business depends solely on your performance and the management of your team. Step back, view your business differently, and then take actionable steps to target the top 20% and assess the bottom 80%.

- Learn how to segment your customer base.
- Understand who are your perfect customers.
- Leverage your Impact/Effort grid on your marketing and advertising efforts.
- Put it all together in an actionable plan.

How Would You Like A FREE Coaching Session?

Act Quickly.

Pick up the phone and call me now at 203-500-2421 (or email - free@richgee.com) and we'll schedule your session. Since I only offer two free sessions a week - act quickly - they do fill up early!
